Dark garnet, pretty nice nose, black cherry, plum and some earthiness. It is restrained on palate, with strong spiciness, cherry and dusty notes. But the fruits diminished at the finishing, leaving a long and tannic finish. It tasted some fruits when opened but the fruits disappeared after 2 hours. I am somewhat disappointed that the fruits did not outlast the tannins. From a bottle picked up from the bin end sales.

Nice Merlot with some sweet cherry flavors. Only a little bit of fruit, nothing else interesting and a little hot on the finish. Not bad, easy drinking Merlot, but for $26, not a very good QPR.

Nose of currant and black cherry /blueberry. Taste was dominated by heavy currant and nice soft round tannins with some vanilla oak. The wine has rounded out nicely and I enjoyed it. Finish is a bit tart, but after 20 seconds, thats not too bad.

AD Tasting. Softest CSM merlot. Sweet blueberry fruit. The fruit is what this wine is about, as there isn't a whole lot of structure, but enough to place the fruit on a pedastal. A great, I want to drink something good and unserious merlot.

Currant, licorice, and brown sugar on the nose. In the mouth, green tannins dominated the berries underneath. Didn't enjoy this as much as we have before. Off bottle? 84

This wine really surprised me with an extremely strong showing. It was tasted with a '99 Verite La Muse (a fantastic wine) and it stood up very well. The nose wasn't overwhelmingly complex. On tasting, it has a reasonably steady, enjoyable taste (one minor hole in the mid-palate). The finish was a big surprise. It lasted a full 30 seconds.
