  • After such a great experience earlier in the week, I decided to crack open the last bottle from my case and share it with my wife. Noticeably darker and younger than the last bottle. Piercing acidity still poking through the dark fruit. Softened a bit with air, but grudgingly. Should have left this bottle another 5 years.

  • Terrific showing from the penultimate bottle in my case. Fragrant, wild red fruits with a seamles, persistent finish. Fully resolved now. So charming, sensuous and alluring. Utterly delicious and makes me kick myself for drinking the rest too early.

  • Drunk by my wife and I on new year's eve with some fillet steak. Much tighter than previous bottles with some piercing cherries and plenty of acidity on the palate initially. A certain rustic frame to the wine as well. With time and air it began to soften and veered between an intoxicating nose of truffles, soy and dark fruits in some sips and softer red fruits like strawberrries on others. The acidity in the wine begged for steak and it was the perfect match.
