Donna T Beef Burgundy Dinner Party in Princeton (Princeton, NJ): At Donna T's Beef Burgundy dinner party in Princeton: I brought this as a traditional pairing with beef burgundy. The wine was more evolved than our 2012 tasting, with red fruits, bramble, herbs and some funk on the finish. It paired well with the beef burgundy (and the Shepard's pie with tofu), although stylistically I preferred the Reignac (Bordeaux).
I also brought the Volnay but we ended up not having any of it.
Great QPR for $14.99 close-out price. Less ok at $35 - $55 I see now in the market.
Can drink for a few more years.

Good value bottle for a village level burg. Subtle aroma of earthiness, slight burnt cola, smokey, tobacco. Tannins were quite noticeable. Slight tart, red fruit. Thin to medium bodied. Quick finish.

PnP_Translucent black-cherry robe w/ an expressive and interesting nose of menthol, sappy cherry, forest floor and tobacco The smooth entry onto the palate shows mostly cherry, some sous bois, but is not as complex or satisfying as the nose on PnP but with air it finally gives it up making this a very satisfying MSD.

Nice village burg drinking perfectly well right now. Good Morey character, elegant nose and palate, and an easy going and balanced red burg that delivers the goods.

- Crimsom color with medium forming legs. It's lacking fruit with a light body. Narrow texture with a medium finish - Kind of thin, light tobacco

Some red fruit and funk. Seems a little closed, to me. Or maybe this is just what it is.

A bit of funk on the nose (wet earthiness) which is enjoyable, with tightly wound fruits and medium but soft tannins.
