  • Very mature Ridge cabernet sauvignon with slight browning color, but mostly deep ruby red. Nose was complex with slight oak, mainly fruit, especially berries. Smooth tongue feel with minimal tannin, but enough to not hide the cabernet sauvignon origin. Complex taste with fruit and minimal tannin. Long finish with both tannin and lovely cabernet tones. Overall, fabulous!

  • Dark and youthful looking with just a hint of ruby on the rim...not showing it's age. Firm nose of layered dark fruit, a hint of chocolate and a slight green edge that was not a detraction, but more of a personality trait. A good fruit grip and solid framework that made this a very nice surprise as there was more here than anticipated...a very solid and well made wine still holding on.
