This is a fantastic 10 year old Wellington port style wine. Very balanced and enjoyed by friends along with pipes and cigars. I haven't met a Wellington I don't like.

Yup, tasty. Great sugar/acid/alcohol balance to me. Aired for half an hour or so before drinking. Very smooth. Aromas are earthy, plum, and cinnamon. Flavours are raisin, nutmeg/clove, and a hint of alcohol. Finish is fairly long but doesn't evolve a whole lot. Improved a whole lot with air...great stuff from Peter.

It has a nice balance of sweetness. The legs are Slow. It smells like Prune, Raisin, Fig, and Black Pepper. It tastes like and Cherry. The body is Light/Medium. The wine is very silky and smooth, and finishes finishes medium, with a pleasant lingering.

Popped and poured. Intense chocolate cherry nose from the bottle. Not much aroma in the glass - but it's a small glass I can't get my nose in. Silky and luxurious in the mouth, chocolate and cherries, warm brandy notes, long satisfying finish. Excellent.

Very fruity. Intense cherries (cordial) and chocolate aroma. Rich, sweet flavor. Alcohol not noearly as strong as the previous comment, though stills somewhat present and could use a little more age. However, in a wine driven so heavily by the fruit, I'd definitely give it a taste again sometime soon. I only wish I had a nother bottle of it. Rich, full mouthfeel. Cocoa and strawberry finish.

It was a lot stronger than I anticipated. I had a 10 year old Wellington in comparison and found it a lot smoother. I'm going to leave these in the bottle for a few more years I think to see what happens. GREAT taste but the overpowering alchohol made it less than perfect for me.

Excellent port! Notes of butterscotch and cherry. Very smooth and mellow. Enough acidity to keep it from being to sweet. Very nice.

Caramelized cherry, sweet/tart raspberry, ripe plum, raisin, fig, toasted almond, and perfect acidity to offset the fortified sweetness

Good color, wonderful nose of chocolate and fruit. Nice mouthfeel, with out being overly sweet. Nice finish, long with more dark fruit
