This wine is youthful and quite backward the moment, but shows tremendous purity and charm. Dark black and blue fruits with clove, saddle leather, herbs, tobacco leaf and currant on the nose. The palate has firm but well integrated tannins. Give this another year in the bottle and get ready for a really good bottle of wine. 14.1% abv and shows the structure for 10-15 years of great drinking ahead of it.
