  • Convergenza perfetta: Vino, annata, apertura ,cibo.

  • gentle minerality and fresh air. beautiful delicacy on the palate with a floral glimmer. this is just the 'freshest.' quince fruit. palate is so mineral driven. and the smell of a new glove. 4 hours in this is all bartlett pear on the nose.

  • I agree with everyone except Ben on this one...Pretty, with some homemade applesauce, pleasant minerality, and yes it would be wonderfully easy to drink across a whole day. But the price...really? Ben, you may say I have no taste in regards to this bottling, but it was a bit watery for me. On the other hand, I'm willing to allow some wiggle room because the Valentini Trebbiano tasted along with it was orgasm inducing.

  • Once, 15 years ago I had a love affair with Gavi. Not this Gavi, but with Gavi in general. Why, I cannot exactly explain. But it remains a moment in time for me that I refer back to with warm sunny feelings. Now, enough of the bullshit: saline and pure on the nose. Mineral on the palate but that doesn't explain everything that is there. You could overlook this and say that its water but then you would be the fool. So complex, chiseled, but with its own tight restricted range. The finish lasts and lasts. Crazy stuff. From magnum.

  • Nose is soft, tropical fruit. Very inviting.
Light and crisp. Tropical fruit and grassy notes. Great acid balance. Incredibly long finish with a touch of white pepper lingering.

  • The best fruit off of the vineyard. Bright, crystalline, and something you could just drink all day. Nice $45 gavi.
