Pinot Gris reaches its apogee in Alsatian terroir, and this wine ranks among the finest examples I have tasted. Pure, rich, and deeply layered. Various food parings showcase the wine's complexities.

Had this wine way back in 2012. Loved it then and love it now. Fresh and reduced nectarine and peaches with a botrytis note, flowers, citrus, fresh vanilla bean and honey. The nose hints that the wine will be sweet but on the palate is dry with layers of complexities. Some alc on the palate but balanced with all the layers of the wine. Exceptional.

amazing complexity and super long finish, this wine literally explodes but somehow, i have a nagging feeling that the wine is ageing prematurely. metallic overtones

This wine absolutely blew me away! The nose was an intoxicating blend of funky mineral musk, honey crisp apples, sea breeze, honey combs, honey suckle, savory brown sugar mixed with caramel apple, mulch, wool, and artesian soap. Every sniff revealed a new scent. The palate was like a salted caramel apple with sea air and that funky Biodynamic umami. The alc was a bit boozy coming in at 14.5% but it's somehow balanced. I honestly sat there for hours smelling this exotic wine. I believe this is the best white wine I've had this year.

This is liquid magic! What a complexity, length, balance. So many taste impressions, it is almost impossible to list them all. Fruit, minerality, acidity all present, in perfect balance. I love this wine.

not an easy wine to judge, at a loss at what to make of this. beautifully rich and oily but i have absolutely no clue how this will develop and whether it will improve at all. given that there is no lack of concentration of fruit and acidity, it is unlikely to go downhill anytime soon, hence propose to leave it aside for 3 to 5 years.

Lite in the glass. Pleasant nose of honey, herbs, nuts, petrol and medicinal. Lite bodied (juice box) Summer fruit, herbs, carmel and floral on the palette. Complex with some nice nuance. Surprisingly smooth for its acidity (mild tartness) and minerality. Medium finish.

Golden; good acidic and fruit balance; broad on the mid palate.

The depth to this wine was amazing. About 3.5 layers, glycerine, peach, pear, paraffin. Slightly alcoholic finish.
