strong rasberry/strawberry fruit roll up smell which followed through to palate with some nice spice. little raspy in the tannic profile. Nice, relatively long finish.

Pretty damn good zinfandel. A littl heat is the only thing that made this pretty good and not outstanding. Still pretty youthful looking getting a nice garnet color at the rim. Jammy nose of homemade cherry liquer?(you know cherries, vodka and sugar!). A nice sweet entry, drying midpalate but nice finish. Would do really nicely with some BBQ as we move into spring/summer.

Strong curranty jammy notes. Long finish with nice tannins and anise and leather notes. Predominately fruity and alcoholic on the nose, but some violets as well. Good finish- clean. Intense and perhaps too alcoholic, but very good. Excellent to perfect pairing.

Like before, but wrong. Raisin'ed and roasted, off-notes. Didn't bother with it.

Too plumby, jammy, syruppy, for both S and me.
