Full ruby color. Nose: deep black cherry, plum sauce, smoked cedar, cinnamon. Palate: consistent dried cherry and juicy plum with accents of toffee and cocoa. Moderate dusty/earthy tannins coming through on the finish provide very good structure. Lingering note of apple skin. Good acidity and length. Really solid wine despite the lacking some more traditional Pinot Noir characteristics. Outstanding value at $11.

Something slightly off -- not bad, but just not as fruity.
