Purchased on release and properly stored. Medium garnet with only the smallest amount of browning. Had with lunch and friends with two other bottles of red wine. The Buehler was the first finished and had no tannins with multiple tertiary flavors. Worth the wait. My last bottle I scored 83 in 2013.

In perfect shape after all these years. Nose is beautiful with grape leaf, tobacco ash, red and black fruit ripeness with a hint of roasted tomato. Basically what I assume heaven smells like. Palate is ripely tannic with blackberries, plums, black cherry hard candy and mint. One bottle is not enough! Alas, it’s all I have. If you have this, drink it! (And maybe invite me over ; )

Best of the 3 bottles I purchased. Mature, mostly tertiary, but some berry fruit showing up with hints of licorice, cedar and mushroom. Very good mature cabernet.

Way better than the last bottle. Just a fantastic example of California Cabernet drank with the first taste of my homegrown Scottish Highland beef. Aged for 5 weeks.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Not nearly long enough. After some time in the glass, notes of chocolate and black fruit. Even and consistent mouthfeel. Lingering finish. Solid wine still.
