  • Opulent and exotic Sonoma estate Chardonnay. Flaunting an amazing core of flavors centered on creamy pear,
grated nutmeg and fig paste. Delightfully focused delivering full blown stone fruit character held in check by citrus
zest. Shows lift on the finish where a ripe tangerine taste lingers on a vanilla oak drenched finish. Best now and
    by years end.

  • Gentle nose of melted butter, apple chips and touch of vanilla essence. Pears, marmalade and wheatgrass mouth. A little bit of heat initially on a 45-second finish but cleans up nicely with a touch of lemon meringue and orange peel. Extremely moreish.

  • Pale yellow in color. 14.1% alc, yet legs form quite slowly. I smell initially a lively citrusy twinge, followed by rich, sweet pears and a nice spiciness that is mouthwatering. The mouthfeel is a bit round and medium bodied, with more pears (a bit muted), apples, and white pepper, with ample acidity to add to the medium-length, pleasing finish. A little less piercing and alcoholic than a year ago, the wine is drinking quite well now and should last another year with no problem.

  • Nice Chard, but is lacking the complexity that I'd like to see and that I'm used to from his Pinot Noir's.
