Not as good as I was hoping. Still a nice wine, offering some subtle red fruit with elegance and balance, but nothing extremely exciting. Probably best to drink up.

Classy, masculine wine. Ripe pure fruit on the nose with a touch of spice. Ditto on the palate. Good acidity. Finishes long with the spice recapitulating. Excellent, complete wine.

Liked this out of the gates, not sure about how i feel about this one a few hours later. Clear garnet color. Soft red berry fruit aromas that over time evolved into a perfumey but edgy red fruit nose spiked with medicinal notes and heat. Initially, this was quite impressive with gentle Vosne fruit on the palate with the slightest spice accents. Over a few hours, this became somewhat acidic and lean, short on the midpalate, and finished a bit abrupt. Lovely during its first hour of life, a disappointment following. I don't think that I'll decant the next bottle I try. Decanted and consumed over three hours. First from a six pack.

Medium red, with a light nose with hints of cherry. A modest midpalate with earth and hints of mushroom, and decent acidity. Finish shows modest tannins.

Munskänkarna, Brussels (Brussels): Medium/light red. Very aromatic PN rosy scents with concentration and healthy acidity and round fruit. Actually approachable at this stage but with a good acidity that will easily take it another 5 years. Should be easy to match with good food.

Falvorsome. Very nice. They are working with 8 different parcels, old vines, for 07 this is unfiltered and at 30% new oak. Old vine is 30+ year old. For Potel old vine is at least 20 years old. Apperently in France there is no law about "old vines."
