  • 2nd bottle. This time around the fruit was more to the fore on the bouquet than the previous bottle. Ripe dark fruits, black currants, blackberries & stewed plums over earthy, mineral & smoke. Fruitier on the palate with brighter acidity but with less spice & savoury flavours. Cerebral.

  • Garnet with a rusty terracotta edge. Upon opening, smoke, earth, black currants, gravel, ripe black fruits. Cedar box in the background. Silky smooth, medium bodied. Dark fruits, especially stewed plums on the palate. Wonderfully light & smooth tannins balanced by mellow yet persistent acidity which form the edges to the fruit core. Lovely
