Color: onion skin (almost clear with a hint of yellow)
Smell: Star fruit, dehydrated pineapple, and saline
Taste: green apple, pineapple, nectarine, and white grapes
Overall: An interesting and enjoyable wine that seems to offer a little more as it warms up. This is not a wine that shows well "strait out of the fridge". It's easy to enjoy and typical of what I look for in Oregon Pinot Gris...but I would like to see more from this producer.

Less fruit and body than the ArborBrook. Decent and refreshing, but a small wine.

Dry, crisp and flavorful. Good varietal character. Slight citrus overtone.

Corks: Air Conditioning (Rossford, OH): Apple cider nose, with a bit of pear. Salty? Simple and pleasant, but flabby.

Light oakiness that doesn't take away from the tropical fruit. Very refreshing.

Light color. A little oaky on the nose. Decent flavor. The oak goes away.

Light bodied and refreshing with nice zip to its floral, peach, apricot and crushed stone flavors.

Tasting the Willamette Valley--2009, Day One (Willamette Valley, OR): Light golden color. Nose of pear, some apple. Similar palate with slight anise, spice. Not as floral as I look for in a PG and its overall density weighed it down a bit.
