I liked it and, as usual, even better the second day.... much better, actually. Soft tannins, black-currant on the nose, additional berries on the palate. I tend to like more earthy wines but this was pleasant at a good price

This wine is OK. Dark color, light/medium bodied, somewhat funky nose. The taste was a little sour/thin at first, but opened up after an hour or so. Nothing too special, but very drinkable.

Dark purple color. Medium body. Lots going on with both nose and palate: blackberries, blueberries, black raspberries, floral notes (perhaps violets), forest floor. Complex, lush, gentle, delightful. Superb; exquisite; a real bargain.

This red is made from three old-vine grapes: 60% Carignane (pronounced karen yawn), 30% Grenache, and 10% Syrah.
It smells sweet. It smells like a Fingers Lake wine. I’m picking up a sweet red berry.
It tastes better than expected, and the body is bigger than expected. It doesn’t taste like a Fingers Lake wine, either. It’s is straightforward. It might be a hair to sweet me, but not really. It will good with some spicy food.
I keep thinking of strawberries and a bright red color after I put down the glass.
This wine has just flipped on me. After giving it to my girlfriend, who gets earthiness and mushrooms, I’m now getting a more funky nose and sweeter and more sour finish.
It’s like it magically opened up one hour and fifty-five minutes after popping the cork.
I don’t think I care for this wine much anymore. It’s ok, but I can immediately think of 24 better wines for the same $12 price or less. Also, I don’t think I’m a fan of “carbonic maceration.” I wanted to be, but I’m not.
You know?! If you don’t smell and suck in more air than wine, then it’s not that bad.

Rosso: Wow! grt aromatic nose of tabacco, smoke, w/sweet wet cigar and earth, but not heavy, lighter style like old school french guy smoking a gitanne on dusty porch. Med. bod, nice character, good wine for food! See how this tastes at home... /tons o character in the moment!

Light body, red fruit and minerality. Good freshness, light tannin. Some funk on the nose, barnyard and sulfur funk. Solid table wine with some character.

1st Anniversary (Greens Restaurant): Light ruby colored red. Smooth, simple, rich, and very drinkable. Went very will with the spinach, blue cheese, and vinaigrette salad. I'd purchase this again as a daily drinker.

A pleasure as always. Agree with babaji, it did very well on the second day. Very round. Still no real finish.

Very rich dark color, strong purple fruit - boysenberry. Full bodied, very smooth, unremarkable finish.

For me this is very evocative of a Languedoc - garrigue, berries - quite savory. Great wine for fall meals.

Rustic; cherries; not too tannic; spicy (but not peppery or garriguey). Totally fine for a Monday night dinner wine, but won't seek out again.

Nice fruit- cherry and plum. A little earthyness, but too much residual sugar for me.

A little rustic. Nice fruit, in the red spectrum. Touch of earth. Solid Corbieres at a fair price.
