Popped, decanted several hours, consumed over next two. Solid California Pinot with fairly robust layers of red and dark fruit, refreshing acid for balance and baking spices creeping in to add complexity.
Set out to allow the bottle to achieve room temperature and opened approximately 60 minutes before tasting. Floral notes on the nose and an initial cherry cola typical of higher alcohol pinots. This one has softened and quickly turned to spicy fruit with medium to smooth tannins. There was no over-extracted taste to this bottle that I found in the last one and it was smooth through a medium finish. It is drinking very well and seems to have some life left in it. Drink or hold for another year or two.
I thought this pinot was overly sweet and not to my liking. I have 3 more bottles and will see how they drink. It is a big red fruity bomb with cherry, cola and hints of vanilla but not enough off setting earthiness for me. I think this still has plenty of time to drink so will not be in a rush to open my other bottles.
Popped, breathed in bottle 90 minutes, poured, followed over next two hours. Started off a little typical California flat cherry cola, but over the course of the evening the cola gradually receded and other spicy nuances emerged. It was becoming a bit more interesting at the end. I will hold onto my other bottle for a few years.
Popped and poured 45 min later. Served in Riedel Vinum Burgundy stems. @ 65 F . Medium intensity garnet color pronounced nose and palate of raspberry, black cherry, cola, sarsaparilla, cinnamon. Medium plus body... Palate was dry with medium plus acidity and low to medium tannins, with a pronounced intensity of fruit, spice and oak.. nice finish. This is fruit forward high alcohol california styled pinot. I would say this wine is currently in a prime drinking widow. Outstanding

Lovely strawberry and raspberry aromas. Wonderful red fruits (raspberry, strawberry, cherry) on the palate mixed with some spice. Great mouthfeel. Would have scored even higher but it finished with just a tad of heat (but I was the only one at the table who complained about it). Delicious.
Popped and poured at the restaurant. I usually hate "strawberry" notes in Pinots, but this was a muscular, minerally strawberry that I actually found really good! Not at all sweet, but quite present on the tongue and front palate. Nice wine getting nicer.
Dark purple in color. The bouquet is huge, cherry and raspberry, floral notes as well. On the palate the flavors are deeper red, black cherry, black berry. It finishes with custard notes and tart cherry. Overall a delicious wine that is improving.
This was amazing because it was just as good on night two as it had been on night one. The nose had aromas of strawberries, flowers and tea. The nose was really fantastic! This wine is so rich with just an explosion of flavor on the palate, exhibiting blueberry, red berries, and green tea flavors.
Decanted. Light pinkish-red color. Transparent. Amazing aromas of wild berry, strawberry, melon with some floral characteristics. Soft mouthfeel with explosive strawberry, raspberry and red candy flavors. Long balanced finish. A beautiful Pinot. Should improve with some bottle time.
