This wine has a thin rim and smells of dark fruit which matches the taste of fairly intense fruit with some development. The body leaves something lacking. Quick appearance of tannin loses steam. Better body.

Nose started off with a bit of nice dark cherry that quickly gave way to an alcohol note- Something went wrong in the process with this wine- the fruit was ok but everything was out of joint on this wine the fruit seemed a bit sweet there was no mid palat then an overwhelming hit of the alcohol- Tanins present along with a touch of smoke- Ugh

Distant cousin to rubbing alcohol. Really just too, too hot, masking any pleasant characteristics the grapes might have possessed at some pt in the past. No better 2d night; remainder went down the sink. Blech.

Dark inky appearance, very thin rim. Very hot nose, otherwise classic zin on nose. Thinner than appearance and nose would suggest. Strong tannins, not well balanced ok with pizza. Maybe better in a year or two when (if) tannins mellow.

Typical good Zinfandel. Perhaps I drank it too young. Nose has smoke, leather and of course, the candy sweestness of Zinfandel. Color is purple. Full body, taste of spice and fruit. Good wine but probably to traditional and straight forward. Not bad.

Very nice Zinfandel, nice fruit, dark colour, nice wood, perfekt for BBQ or meat/steak, may be a hint to much alcohol

This wine has a glossy black color with fruity hot aroma. The taste is soft and dark with full hot pepper and spice. OK.
