Nice but inexpensive dessert wine. Medium to dark golden yellow color. Full of honey, apricot and grilled peach on the nose and palate. Acidity is not that high which is a bit of a detraction to its longevity, not that it is over the hill, but it is certainly not going to get appreciably better from here. Enjoyable with my daughter’s lemon and blackberry birthday cake.

Very nice juice, and with a refreshingly different flavor profile compared to other dessert wines. Grenache Blanc and Roussanne provide lots of interesting flavors and aromas, and the sweetness/acidity balance is very good. Thumbs up, especially given the very modest price tag.

Luscious. Bright amber color, aromas of honey, ginger and burnt orange all appear on the palate as well. Acidity keeps the considerable sugar from being cloying. Persistent finish.

Medium to dark golden yellow color in the glass. Wonderful apricot and honey on the nose and the palate and a hint of nuttiness on the finish. Perfect accompaniment to my wife's caramel cheesecake. Lots of bright vibrant acidity yet rich in texture. Should last a long time in the cellar and improve with more of the nuttiness coming out with age.

Slightly oxidized but very honey focused this is a unique and lovely dessert wine. Good acid balance, 13% RS and 13.7% alcohol. Not Sauterne but damn nice.

This was the 15th and final wine served at our wine bash. It went great with cheesecake and various other small desserts. Due to the party nature of the evening no more detailed notes available.

I should disclose that I don't drink a lot of dessert wines given the fact some can be overwhelming. Really enjoyed this one given the fact it was lighter in body but still had depth of flavor. Barlett pears and honey are on the nose and on the palate while consuming. There is also a hint of apple core. I highly recommend this wine for anyone who is trying dessert wines for the first time. Cheers.

Rhone Rangers 2011 (San Francisco): Lovely nose of fresh peaches. Palate is sweet, simple, but has good fruit and a nice finish. A bit low on acidity. Ready to drink now. Excellent well balanced drinker.

Deep golden colour. Really fun, expressive nose showed some pear along with tomato leaf. Nice sweetness with a touch of pair, apricot and some savoury hints suggesting tomato. Balanced with great acidity though the mid-palate was a little thin and was not overly complex. Previous bottle 6 months ago was definitely sweeter and showed a little spice. Fun wine that has good QPR.

A random Saturday Evening (Mike and Karen's): nose: very tasty nose of apricots, pears, tropical citrus', and hints of star fruits. Nice sweetness to the nose with good balance, though slightly lacking some depth
taste: a very nice feel with good medium weight and tones of star fruits, pears, and apricots. Good medium acidity and isn't all that cloying either
overall: a very nice young dessert wine. May flesh out a bit with a little more age, but this is the perfect kind of dessert wine for a hot afternoon with some ice cream or sweeter fruits

Nose of sweet pear and lime. The taste adds honey and apricot, with a clean, off-dry finish. Medium body, not syrupy. A fairly light dessert wine with a hint of spice.
