Nose opened up in the glass. Red berries and cherries showed some earth flavors. Palate had a burst of raspberries and cherries with a medium long finish, integrated and good tannins, good acidity, and ending of licorice notes. Very good!

Opened 15-30 min prior to consumption. Lightly colored, nose still acid/alcoholic with notes of wild strawberry. In mouth, the density is very low, the wine is fluid. Notes of wild strawberry, grenadine and cherry. Also a bit of wood ( could not determine which). Overall, this wine is very elegant, will for sure appel to women. I believe it could still age positively with less acidity and more complexity

Tonight's bottle was better than its siblings from the same case (note that this case has been stored at about 12C since purchase in 2008). 5 minutes after opening, it showed nice fruit and mild tannins. 3 hours later, it was still holding up. Recommend that one drinks this soon after opening. I do not expect this to improve with further bottle age.

Popped and poured, followed over approximately 1.5 hours. At first this was a little too warm, so we popped it in the fridge. After that, this was rocking. On the nose, gorgeous bright red cherry fruits, baking spice, earth, florals, with hints of game, iodine and underbrush. On the palate, bright crisp red fruits, spice and tea leaves. The structure is quite evident here with some grip on the finish and an excellent acidic backbone. Finish is moderate. While drinking nice now, I'd probably give this a few more years to show it's best. Overall, quite nice. 91+

The aromatics are complex, showing vivid tones of bright red cherries, forest floor, cellar dust, and cinnamon. The palate opens with a melange of focused berries, game, and hints of spice. The mid-palate fruit is darker in profile, later merging into a medium finish of stem, violet, and sweet dried berry encased in framework of dusty tannins. There is a lifting acidity that lends a nervy edge to the flavors as they progress and evolve over the palate. This is a nice, if not somewhat standard effort, with good focus and linearity. R&M 87

Quite tasty and near to resolved on the first night, on the second tasting rather on the tired side. Very nice wine for the money, though I didn't get any of the firmness I associate with pommard.

Translucent darker ruby. Intense earthy soil aromas with a beautiful backdrop of floral lavender. Palate has decent depth and concentration finishing with grippy yet gentle tannins and great acidity which should ensure a good decade of drinking. Beautiful elegant style.

Sorry no notes again. I will say it seemed basic without much going on and yet still good with food. Sorry, can't say more.

This was surprisingly big. Went well with pork tenderloin. Slightly asleep. No rush

Bright fruit with that distinctive forest floor, barnyard floor, or whatever floor aroma you want to label it!
Good wine, great for the price!

Killer nose, somewhat sweeter fruit in the mouth than I'd like normally. Really nice bottle of wine for the money.

Wonderful complex bouquet - but in the mouth, the tannins dominate the fruit. Probably best to wait several years before drinking the rest.
