Pleasant bouquet, raspberries and floral components. Thin mouthfeel. Tart taste. Cherries on the aftertaste. Drank over the course of 3 days, best on the first day.

Perfumed nose is the best part of the wine. It's a bit thin in the mouth with decent fruit. Finishes a bit plonky. Nothing horrible here, just not that exciting nor exceedingly pleasurable.

Blind home wine tasting with MOT Scoring sheet (At Home in the Cave): Violets on the nose with cherry and later a light currant nose evolved. A pleasant Pinot (better than many of the cheap every day ones) with a ight metallic/liquorice towards the finish. NRS would be 86.
Although this is NV, I have had this bottle for at least 10 years so it had some substantial age on it.

a real bargain for such a nice balanced pinot.a bit tight on the nose but good mouthfeel, nice cherry fruit on the mid palate and tons of acids to make it food friendly. Une pensee pour toi Maurice.....

A friend of mine gave me a bottle of this simply to try. Very impressive for the price (this was $7). Excellent for what it is. Sort of reminds me of a Beaujolais (not the new grape juice, but the real stuff). Very nicely balanced. Excellent value.

Wow! A burgundy for under $10. This is surprisingly good. Dense color, mildly tannic and medium bodied with restrained fruit. Lasted 3 nights in the fridge.

Lively is a good way to describe it; there's very little fruit but lots of vividness and freshness, if that makes sense. The tannins are a little on the bitter side but I liked it; I expected a 'rustic-ness' based on the price, the non-vintage and the Vin de Tables designation and in that regard it wasn't as rustic as I expected. A little rough around the edges but well constructed as well and very 'French'. Like I said, little fruit which I was totally in the mood for.

SERVED AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY! A nice ruby red coloring with flavors or cherry, strawberry, plum, and some vanilla. Crisp not sweet. Per the wine merchant, declassified 2005 vintage. For the price <$10, quite good for quaffing.

Very nice pinot for the value. Pepper comes on strongest on the nose. Full on sour cherries (think Bavaria) on the palate. Pretty well balanced structure, but seems a little thin in the mouth, unlike that wonderful velvety texture you get with a lot of other pinot noirs. Finish is a little shorter than I'd like it to be.

An interesting dinner tonight wine with a low price and significant character for the money. Easy drinking, balanced fruit and tannin with a bit of pepper although the finish doesn't linger on the pallet. Just enjoy and don't look for an $8 substitute for the grand crus of France.

An introduction to Domaine Laurent Boussey (Chez Kimelman): I was advised that this bottle had been subjected to some harsh conditions. Still this very pale red was a pleasant, simple quaff.
