Very bright yellow, young looking......still quite fresh and elegant with tiny crisp bubbles...pear and apple fruit, lemon meringue mousse, nice yeasty toast with a little ginger butter on it...chalky minerals as well. Really fresh tasting and a pleasure to drink!

Probably starting to get towards the end of its bet drinking days, but still very nice. Citrus, green apple, with slight yeast on the nose. Bubbles fine and still present. Not quite as good as the 2001 Late Disgorged Brut that was tasted immediately before.

Straw yellow w/ nice mousse and bead. Nose of pear, crushed stones and brioche. This wine really shines on the palate-just delicious. Pear, apple, yeast and and chalk all in perfect balance. Mouthwatering acidity. As good a sparkler that I have had in quite a while, Champagne or otherwise.

Probably would have had a 91 or 92 a few years ago. A bit tired, but still hanging on to some of the great characteristics of a champagne from Taittingers.

Tasting at winery. floral nose to start. Lush fruit to start, even showing some tropical fruit character, but this straightens out towards middle and finish with flavors of ripe golden apple. Very fresh, powerful and concentrated with a subtle finish. Good young.

very smooth; refreshing delicious; not too sweet, distinctly taste those pears, long finish; bottle gone all too soon

pear and green apple, smooth, tiny bubbles (like Ruinart), very nice - went incredibly well with a white truffle macaroni and cheese
