Not too much to brag about here, but not awful either. A simple wine lacking structure with very slight fruit, some strawberry, on the tongue. As mentioned, a bit watery as well. Tasted some pepper on the finish.

Color: Dark and oily looking Nose: smells exactly like a cherry vodka sour Taste: starts out with the cherry and sour lemon flavor from before, and on the mid pallete you an orange flavor, and on the end there's the orange flavor with a bit of peatiness Comments: overall solid wine, could go with light or heavy foods

A very simple, light wine, fine for easy drinking but lacking in complexity that would merit pairing with food. Generic red fruit flavors, and nice acidity.

This is a wine you buy when you have no other choice or someone gives it to you as a gift. Pleasant, fruit forward with a nouveau finish. Drinkable as plonk - consume as necessary . . .

I read some of the reviews on here and wonder if every wine is suppose to be stellar, or outstanding or... whatever. This is a B-V after al!! I think the Drouhin B-V has more body than Jadot, so I'll spend the extra buck for the Drouhin. The Jadot is for a Sunday afternoon when you just want to have a glass of wine to while away the time (and you want to save your $30+ bottles for dinner with friends). I thought the wine did better the 2nd day out, but that's just me. It does have more of a Nouveau character, but that's not a bad thing.

This is a weak wine. Fruit is very forward, strawberry and cherry. Highly acidic and one dimensional a lame finish. I would not reccomend this wine at all, when there are so many other's that are better at this price.

Worst non-flawed wine I've ever had. Poured out the bottle after half a glass. Candied rotten strawberries...with just a touch of vinegar for good measure. I'd be embarrassed to put my name on this label...

Nose of fruit, a little cherry. Very lightly sweet in the pallate, this medium bodied wine is more acidic than you would guess (let it rest in your mouth for a few seconds if you don't believe me!) This wine finishes smooth, not alot of tannin or acidity on the finish.
2nd Night (Vacuum Pump Sealed overnight) - Wine fell flat. Nose is subdued, and wine has lost any sweetness it may have had. Feels lighter and more tannin on the finish. Not undrinkable by any means, but didn't hold up as well as most I've tried. Tonight's score would be a 77 (overall score remains from first night)

I preface this by saying I did not drink this when first opened, but did have a glass the following day. Deep color, smooth, fruity and uncomplicated. A good table wine.

Drank over an hour or so. Nose shows pretty floral (hibiscus flower) and candied strawberry aromas. Almost creamy and airy on the palate. Great mouth feel in fact, even if it is light bodied. Mainly tasting of light berries (cranberry) on the palate. The interest is with the texture though. Finish starts a bit awkward, but begins to unfold to tart berries with some coating tannins. Candied berries linger, but lightly so. Overall quite great go to wine that you can find almost anywhere. I'd never be disappointed to find only this at a remote store on Maui for $10.

Picked this up to put out for a party event, but nobody even poured it - not because they have better wine tastes, but because everybody drank my special eggnog instead. So I drank next afternoon until it bored me too much. Decent B-V, powdered sugar bubble gum. Didn't hold a candle to the Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon Eggnog.

Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of blueberries, chocolate covered cherries, talc and a bit of berries. Flavors of berries with a little tart cherry. Light to medium acidity, light body. Short finish. Drink now.

Very decent Beaujolais. Strong strawberry/raspberry aromas. The acidity just bursts in the mouth accentuating the strawberry, cherry flavors. Hints of rose petals and clove add to the complexity. Would be a good food wine due to its simplicity and high acid. Nice refreshing quaffer.
