PnP. Red berries and a little acidic bite right out of the bottle, let sit in the glass for 15 minutes and everything came together, with red & black berries, worn leather, a dusty touch of oak, and faintly detectable tannins and a medium-long finish. Picked up right where it left off the next night!

A solid if not overly exciting bottle of Napa cabernet; The palate is fairly open with plenty of ripe red and dark fruits, although there's a touch of astringency on the back end which detracted somewhat; Still an excellent value for the price

The legs are medium. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like mushroom, mineral and stoniness. It tastes like tobacco. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long.

This is a wine that never disappoints. Popped and poured. definitely a brick color, but smooth and silky and decadently delicious nonetheless. One of the longest ending ever in a 2006 Cab!! Hope I can discover more of Bennett cabs

Pnp thru aerator. This wine has improved since the last time I drank it. It really needs a little bit of air, and food. But with those two it was excellent.

Very fruity on both the nose and palate. Medium-to-full bodied, but displays very good depth and intensity. Attractive flavors of raspberries, plums and ripe cherries persist well into the long, smooth finish. Nicely balanced - with fine, well-integrated tannins and just a touch of oak. My only issue with this wine is its lack of varietal character. If tasted blind, I would have guessed this was a well-made Sonoma Zinfandel blend. Still, this is a very enjoyable Napa Cabernet and a good value at just $21. 50+5+12+15+7=89

Dark crimson red. Delicious nose with blackberry and raspberry aromas, some balsamic and pepper, jammy. On the palate, excellent mouth-feel with just the right amount of chewiness. Herbal and spice box aromas, very well integrated acidity, good tannins. Very good balance and depth. Wood aromas and slight pepper towards the medium long finish. After a while, cocoa and bitter chocolate aromas as well as fennel and anis seed. Really liked it!

Decadently delicious... a woodsy, dark fruit and cedar aroma, followed by a rich cassis middle and a long-lasting finish!! Decanted for 30 minutes before drinking. Each moment in the glass got better! Thankfully I have another!

A decent cab for the money. Very enjoyable with an al fresco lunch Bonnie threw together which we ate while looking at pastures and mountains. Ahhh. This is not a big bold bottle that we would pull out for steaks, but it is solid enough and has lots of fruit. Would we buy it again? It did not create a moment or make a memory, so probably not. Again though, good wine for $20.

This wine opened with nice fruit nose of cherries and strawberry. Had a bit of chocolate on the nose as well. Tannins were well rounded and not too much acid, all in all well balanced. Lighter mouth feel then I expected almost reminded me a bit of Pinot then a Cal Cab. As the evening wore on and it opened more it became more complex and went well with food. Overall a solid bottle of wine in this price point, my favorite type of Cal Cab no.

Tasty fruit on the nose and front end, but lacks depth on the back end. Spice missing. This is nice for a $20 bottle, but just when your senses enjoy the expressive fruit (interesting, non-standard cab fruit profile with some chocolate notes, uniquely expressive for this price point), you notice the short, somewhat dissapointing finish. Still good though.

This bottle seems to be coming into its own now. Well balanced with structured tannins that do not overwhelm. Dark red fruit, plum & raspberry, & chocolate on the nose. Rounded tannins on the palate with a elegant finish. Very enjoyable wine.

pop and pour not much on initial nose - nice deep red color - blue fruits on taste - fairly simple initially, will see if some air opens it up - flavorful if not a showstopper, nice daily drinker.

OK, maybe I overshot this one the last note I made. The oak is much more pronounced than I remembered from before. But, it's still a very nice wine and a great QPR for a reserve. I still highly recommend.

Not much on the nose. Deep blackberry color. Significant tannin. Lots of red fruits on mid palate. Great finish for this price range in Napa. Great QPR at WTSO.

Delish. Fruit-forward, as folks used to say. Jammy, but without the connotation of sweetness. Takes time to aerate. I recommend about an hour. Then the flavors hold forth like a preacher on Sunday mornin'! Excellent.

I agree with the comments that this one needs a little air time to show its true colors. Nice deep fruit upon opening but firm tannins on the first taste. Aerated and then left in a decanter for another hour before drinking and it made a huge difference. Good complexity and depth made it seem like a more expensive wine. Really enjoyed it - paired with barbecued pork ribs and grilled potatoes.

Deep ruby color. Dark fruit, vanilla, a hint of cassis. Sweet fruit to begin, then oak and tight, dry tannins on the finish. Overall not a bad QPR, but I would probably drink these and age something else with more potential.

Popped and poured consumed over a couple of hours. Deep dark color. At first nose was dark black fruits but after being open for 10~20 minutes most of that blew off and it was really tight; just a some dusty black cherries are left. Taste up front is black cherry with some cedar. There is a big hit of alcohol mid-palate and the finish is dominated by the heat from the alcohol and the moderate tannins. Might it come together in a few years? Perhaps. Will I find out by buying some and sitting on them? Nope. Big pass.
