From Magnum drank over 2.5 Hours. Nice well integrated does not show Alcohol. Claret Like nice Cherry and Berry flavors. Some Tobacco in bouquet. Finish is Medium. Nice showing $29 great value.

This got better with another year of bottle age. Huge fruit aromas and flavor. Stemminess no longer evident. Really nice spice and lush finish. Everything in balance.

Compared to the Carlisle this was a lesser wine but if I were opening this on any other evening it would be an enjoyable, if a little disjointed, wine. The Carlisle simply had more power, depth and oomph. Like the Santa Lucia Pinot the oak was a little overdone for my tastes and I think I could pay less and get a better Zinfandel for the money, and that would be the only negative comment I would make. I certainly expected more complexity for this wine, but there was little there beyond oak and spice, and a hint of strawberry that I think I detected but on checking at home I noticed the notes mentioned that flavor but perhaps it was the power of suggestion. Will the wine fill out over some time? I suppose, but that is mere conjecture on my part. Given the choice I’d take the Carlisle

Relatively big, full. A bit dull, as though its life had burned away. OK, but lacking any charm.

This wine as others have indicated is coming into it's prime drinking window. Glad I saved a couple of bottles.

Violet red. Nose of spice, oak and red fruits. Full-bodied, some stemmy flavors under the spice notes. Nice balance, medium finish.

Note: part of a larger Siduri tasting
