Tampa Spring Break III; 2/16/2018-2/18/2018 (Tampa FL): From the wine list at Bern's. Color wise, this was lighter than Charbono but darker than the Revol Cote-du-Ventoux. Great funky nose. On the palate this was all about bacon, smoked meats, spice, some dark berries with a great spine of acidity. All nicely coming together for a delicious glass of wine - this held its own for about 3 hours in the glass. Delicious and my favorite of three very lovely wines in our flight from the 70's.

2/18/2018 - MC2 Wines Likes this wine:
Tampa Spring Break (the third); 2/16/2018-2/18/2018 (Various Tampa locations (Seasons 52, Capital Grille, Berns etc.)): If you served this blind I'd be hardpressed to think it wouldn't be marked as a Rhone almost every time. It's meaty and brooding and a touch animalistic (in a good way). Enjoyable.
