Pretty wine that pushes above its weight for a non-cru chambolle. Very good winemaking puts this ahead of its peers with bright, open fruit and soft tannins but enough hints of complexity to add interest.

Had this besides Drouhin 2001 Clos des Chenes. This was more open for the first hour with silky high-toned red fruit. After more air the Drouhin was clearly better. Will drink my next bottle more quickly!

Took about 1.5 hours to show its best. Floral nose of violets and roses with some underlying secondary earthy notes. Palate was satiny texture with a warm medium finish. Pure elegance. Probably would have been more impressive 3-5 years ago, but a nice mature Chambolle now.

Hard to believe this is a 13 year-old villages wine! Started with small red fruits on nose and smooth palate. Was best between 45 and 90 minutes open when nose was even mix of red and black fruits and palate was richer dark fruits. Hint of secondary development showed on nose after 90 minutes.

Great nose, with melange of red fruits, potpourri and spice. Well integrated wet stones and cinnamon. Rich palate with red berry fruit but slightly drying.

Lovely nose. Touch of violets. Red fruits. Very slight cloudy on appearance.
The wine is drinking beautifully now. Decanted for an hour. This has its all. Sweet fruits, savoury notes. Dominant flavour is raspberry/ brambles. Balanced. Acidity. Touch of sweet touch tobacc

A bit harsh to start but.. give it some time to open, 45mins or so and this becomes something to talk about. Big sweet nose, very chambolle. The nose goes on and on and on. Complex too. Nice mild body with lots of layers. Some underlying sweetness. Very very nice

Delicious wine. Very smooth. Let it breath for 30 minutes in decanter. Hints of berries. Subtle.

Wine is becoming secondary. Very nice. Hint of oxidation after 3-4 hours of air detracted.
