This was high-toned and while palatable, clearly reflected the dilution of the vintage. Though there was good black-cherry acidity, the depth of fruit was not there, and the finish was so short it had practically disappeared before it reached the throat!

13.5abv. raspberry and raspberry seeds. mushroom, truffle, black mushroom, leather, cedar. very mushroomy and musky with some astringent cedar tannins. low key fruit but not dull -- still balanced, though earthy.
