Tasted from magnum at WS. Wonderful bracing acidity still dominates this bottling. Incredibly smooth mid-palate. Wine has yet to develop any tertiary flavors that chard can get as it ages. I'd drink within the next couple of years.

Robert Parker said this wine had 3-4 years. He missed by 5. Still bright and beautiful, full of white stone fruit, vanilla, yeast. And its texture still so rich, as W-S always seems to pull off with its chardonnays. Yum.

Light yellow color, nice apple & pear aromas now. Medium weight , smooth mouthfeel but the fruit has lost its freshness. A short to medium pleasant finish. Drink up soon.

Was worried this was going to be over the hill. It's obviously not in perfect form, but was still very impressive in terms of fruit, vibrancy and acidity. Don't wait any longer if you have.

I liked this but it didn't have as much personality as I expected. The oak was very muted and the fruit wasn't much in prominence either. Maybe it's gotten a bit long in the tooth, or maybe it experienced some heat along the way. Still a nice Chard, but not up to expectations.

Not much to add to notes by prior tasters. This is the real deal: complex wine with abundant oak and fruit but in perfect balance and an underlying minerality consistent with a very good white burgundy. Cal chards don't get too much better than this.

Nice chard that is present but not showy. Citrus and acid balanced with stone fruit and just enough oak. Crowd pleasing wine that is just beginning to peak.

- Yellow color - This is a wonderful bottle of Chardonnay. It's pure new world juice. You'll never confuse it with a Burgundy white. There's oak and fruit, perfectly balanced. This baby could play with the big boy, Aubin, Peter Michel, Kistler, Ramey, etal. Easily the equal in quality to the Williams Selyem Pinots and Zins, this baby follows Bob Cabral's rule of it's all about the grape. The cooperage is the same from year to year and so is the quality. Wonderful now, with an easy five years left on it. I just love this stuff.

Clear, pale yellow with some sediment crystals. Fresh fruit nose, with pear and baked apple on the palate. Slight oily mouthfeel. Hazelnut and toasted almonds on the finish.

14.6% alcohol. Medium yellow color. Fragrant nose of butterscotch, apple, lemon peel, and minerals. In the mouth, concentrated and racy, like tasting a slightly tart apple pie. Bright acidity and creamy, oak-tinged structure lend complexity. Better with another year in bottle to help bring together the elements but very nice. A-

Magnum. Blind tasting WOTN nobody could identify: uniquely rich, balanced, stone fruit "finish for days."

Pale yellow color, apple & pear aromas and fruit, good balance, medium length fruit finish. This bottle was better than our previous bottle (6/16).

Nice, but not all I hoped for. Very light oak influence and not as much fruit as I expected.

I am a big fan of the WS chards. Nose of pineapple, pear, lychee and buttered popcorn. Middle weight on palate with a bit of oak but well integrated.
