Pale yellow. Citrus sea salt nose leads to a fuller, but crisp, palate of green apples and lemon. Dry. Easy to like, well balanced, fun wine nice in the hot summer. Not a serious Riesling, but you would not expect one for this price. Worth every penny.

There is a lovely sweetness to the nose, a little like green apples but with cream on top. The palate has a super little sherbert fizz to go with the citrus and then acidic sweet finish. A lovely refreshing wine.

2009 Basic German Riesling Tasting: I liked this wine more than the others, finding a rich ripe nose and palate that was almost balanced by the acidity, but I found something honeyed in there that was distracting. The others really disliked the wine. I heard things like "artificial, disjointed, thin, and dilute."

very much a stoney minerality on the nose. green apple would be the fruit, but not tonnes there. the taste of icicles. ice snapping. really getting on this one. the grassy comments from the previous note are still there, but not so seemingly dominant. german vs. austrian trocken. discuss.

At first a little thin, but after a while the seductive freshness and drinkability takes over. O most fine value but lacks the stuffing for long term cellering. Drink now and enjoy. For the price (8 Euro) its a fine everyday wine..

Similar impressions as '08 bottles. Like the '08, nice crisp bottle of dry Riesling -- good acid and nice citrus and a hit of green apple flavors. Love this wine for the price. Great effort this vintage too.

A really impressive effort at this price level. Nice fresh and zingy white with great balance between sweet and acidic notes. A slight feminin touch to it but enough power on the palate to match it up.

Dry riesling @ Groppi's; 10/15/2010-10/26/2010 (Groppi's): classic style. 'the perm' very grassy. 'sugar snap peas' that's german acidity. really amplified by the relatively rich balance of the brandborg 08. warm-pile-of-silage style of grassy. 'raspberry yogurt'

Härligt sammansatt i både doft och smak där fet krydda, gula äpplen, tropiskt frukt o en aptitretande syra utmärker sig. Eftersmaken sitter också i med lime och gula äpplen. En riktigt trevlig sommarriesling..

There are fresh, crisp apples and pears on the nose. There's some weight on the palate and some concentration of fruit. Really, and against expectations, this is jolly good.

Served with spicy stuffed poblano peppers and it was perfect! Crisp, fruity and not too sweet.

Mineral, clean pure, tastes just a hint of RS to me. That has got to be me though, not this.

Decent, fresh riesling, but taking away some of the residual sugar takes away the magic somehow
