  • This was profound and in very very good condition.

Right off the bat, it comes swinging with white pepper, menthol and green thick olive. Then it kinda fades into som bbq for quickly returning to the more fruity notes before it dries off into a more earthy, damp metallic note.

This was insanely good considering the era it comes from. Wow!

  • An Evening at Bern's (Tampa): Probably my favorite Chateau in Bordeaux and what an unbelievable thrill it was to drink this wine. Amazing freshness on the nose an palate. That beautiful herbal note that I love so much about Pichon was very much there and continued to grow in stature during the 1 hour we drank this bottle. Like the others, this was glossy and perfectly seamless. Outstanding depth and purity and a very long finish.
