This wine is of a very good quality. The flavours are distinct and concentrated, and have an amazing balance with the alcohol and the acidity. The wine has complexity, showing primary, secondary, and tertiary characteristics. The well-integrated oak treatment and use of bâtonnage complements the flavour profile. The toasty notes from the aged semillon component are coming through nicely. The finish is very enjoyable and has an amazing length.
Drink now, not suitable for further ageing. The wine is quite vibrant for its age, but some of the primary characters (lemon) are starting to fade, as is the acidity.

Big whiff of onion skin to begin then it clears to reveal a wine of extortionary freshness and vitality. There are notes of capsicum, cut grass, gooseberry and citrus. The fruit has a waxy feel and it is precise with a big lick of grapefruit acidity. There’s a wave of geological material rolling around the mouth towards the finish and it has great cut.
