When first tasted, this surprisingly deep colored wine was quite fruity and almost too sweet. After a few hours of air it became more balanced with light rounded tannins, and very good length. It still retained a solid core of fruit.
This was a very nice wine that was certainly at its peak if not slightly beyond. It showed lovely integration and flavor detail. Drink soon!
