Opened one hour in advance. Faint floral cherry aroma. Flavors of red fruit, boysenberry. Some menthol in the finish. Refined, mature, well balanced, good backbone. Correct, but not vibrant. Excellent QPR.

Lovely ruby robe; pure red fruit, hint of graphite. Great concentration of flavor on the palate. I'm glad I saved this bottle: my impression is that this wine is at a height of readiness (intending no implication that it won't remain so, or for how long--I'm not sure how to tell).

Ruby. Seductive cranberry/Asian spice, violet nose & entry/finish. Well integrated, sweet tannins providing a smooth but substantial body. Use as a ringer at a blind Burgundy tasting.

Deep concentrated fruit with a deep long nose. Hints of plum but just ever so tart to bring a big smile with the finish.Very earthy. As usaul I let this wine decant for 2 hours, but immediatly knew I had a winner from the moment I smelled the nose when I pulled the cork. Served with a meal of Wagu NY Strip medium rare, brussel sprouts with bacon and maple surup and new potatoes and onions, I plan on letting my other bottle age a few more years. Can't wait. A real winner.

Opened by some friends in Michigan over the weekend. Not your typical Beaujolais and I mean that in a good way. Medium body without any sweet overly fruity notes. Rustic red fruit notes. 88 points.

Beaujolais Cru tasting (Wine-Route, Tel-Aviv): dark transparent brown
simple fruity nose
lean structure, as if diluted, mediocre flavours
