  • PNP. Cork perfect. Color light ruby. Nose is mostly sous bois and some cacao? Swishing shows acid mostly and tannin framing bright cherry and red cassis fruit. Sipping gives better balance but this is still a touch raspy. Benefits from decant and second night was fine

  • PNP. Cork perfect. Color ruby. This is lightly corked. Barely noticeable but undeniable. Underneath that there is some spice and cherry. There are also some earthy notes. Swishing shows super intense acid. Underneath is bright cherry that hasn't quite been destroyed by the TCA. Disappointed with this one but looking forward and hoping that my other bottles are intact.

  • Medium-dark red color with limited transparency. Aromas of black cherry, earth, plum, and cranberry. On the palate, this is like drinking unsweetened cranberry juice with the tart, tannic structure of the wine completely covering all elements of fruit. The finish dries out with some barrel tannins to further insult your senses. A wine for Nihilists at the present. Resample in 3-5 years? Hold.

  • Ruby hue. Nose is bright and fresh with juicy cherry and musty earth. At first this comes across as simply bright and fruity and somewhat simple, but as it opens it really shows a nice mushroomy earthiness as well. The acidity is beautiful and gives the wine something close to the lift you'll get in a good German Riesling. This is a beautiful wine with nice complexity under $30
