Fantastic nose of Gevrey spice, pot-pouri, sous-bois and typical burg perfumey notes; On the palate, nices tart fruit, pine, sachet, but a bit thin and very high acid. Wonderful off the bat but quickly turned a bit too high acid. Wendy's Cool Climate Tasting. Nose: 91 Palate: 87

Rusty ruby, clear fading rim; candied cherry, cherry syrup, pot-pouri, forest floor, pinot spice; med- bod, high acidity, mod t's, bright and juicy, still quite fresh although very tangy and light (vintage), still doing quite well for this vintage. Everyone guessed much younger. M-Pole

Tart red fruit; earthy, sappy nose. Very fine integrated tannins. Paired well with roast beef tenderloin. Very acidic up front, but much of the secondary characteristics of this wine come through on the moderately long finish. Drinking well now, but hard to tell in what direction it is headed due to the high acidity. It did improve and gain complexity over the course of the evening.

Very pale ruby; lovely dried flowers, light sweet spice, Gevrey spice if you will, with ripe cherry, fraises des bois, tart little berries, slight earthy aspect, light sap, really nice, elegant, medium light weight, medium high acid, low on the tannins. Enjoyed this much. Nice now and should develop well over the next 5 years.

À carafer impérativement. Un peu de gaz carbonique à l'ouverture. Dernier verre meilleur.
