  • A really good Zin! Big ripe mouthfilling fruit, but never pruney or syrupy. There's acid underlying everything giving this wine definition and length, and there's also good Zin spice.

  • This is a very nice, intense, distinct, and concentrated wine. Obviously hand made, this brings Zinfandel up to the next level. The aromas jump right out of the glass. I suspect there is eucalyptus nearby. It is not just fruit dominated, there is a spicy road tar aroma also, possibly a result of the 11% Petit Sirah. The intense fruit taste is perfectly ripe, very dark, more like pie fruit than fresh. Black raspberry, blueberry, and red raspberry. The 15.1% alcohol is amply balanced with just enough acid The oak is noticeable but not overpowering. The finish is grapey. The whole package is tasty, intense and above average.
