Red, with some red/brown color around the edges. Red berries, leather and good integrated wood. Medium body, with decent acidity and pretty good length.

Deep ruby in colour with pure aromas of plum and black cherry. Nicely balanced yet under oak influence. Mild tannins and the medium weight makes this an accessable, easy drinking wine.

Firm earthy wine with inky-graphite on the initial attack - giving way to briars, cedar notes and firm tannins. There is dark fruit in there but it is a bit elusive because it is masked by the bracing wood and earth tastes. It'd be better if the fruit could assert itself more, but I don't think age will help with this very much. The best facet of this wine is the long finish, which offers up a smokiness moderated by a lovely hint of strawberry -- it lasts for ages. Overall, this is a solid wine at a good value, probably best with red meat dishes.

Earth, leather, cherry and blueberry, supple palate, medium finish. This is a soft, fruity new-style Chianti Classico that you can enjoy as soon as the cork is popped.
I have a personal fix for it, so 88+1.

Red fruits on the nose, lot of cherries, coffee - a touch more than what I like, firm body - good structure, text book chianti. The tannins are soft, the acidity is still good, went well with dinner, solid effort, but nothing too exciting....

Great fruity nose, tart, earthy, soil like. Opened up in about hour. Tart, oak, earth on tongue, but big red fruit coming through. Hints of balsamic and figs. Nice bottle.

Popped and poured. Solid if unspectacular fare on offer here. Medium bodied. Nice dark cherries with some toasted oak and smooth tannins. Nice value wine which is very approachable right out of the bottle.

After discovering and enjoying the 2007 at an Italian restaurant, I hope the 2008 would be as good. As it turned out, it was almost identical. I guess that's the good and bad of mass produced wine. A real easy drinker with a complex but undemanding palate. Notes of iron, cherry, flowers and oak.

Nice chianti here by one of the original families that brought Chianti to the masses as i understand it...agree with other notes. Nice light to medium bodied, lots of bright fruit and light acid and tannins such that this is easy drinking solo or with variety of foods. Nice finish of a little smokey tobacco and hint of the oak.

As the saying goes, "this was a good pizza wine". This had nice bright fruit and appropriate dryness to match well with pizza and salad. Just what i look for in a Chianti.

Robijnrood. In de neus rood fruit, bloemen en vanille. Mineraliteit in de smaak. Zachte, middellange afdronk. De wijn zit momenteel behoorlijk op slot, te vroeg open gemaakt.

The nose showed dusty potpourri with fresh crushed cranberry, cinnamon stick, and dark bakers chocolate. On the palate, it was medium bodied with a high level of acidity pushing dry yet intense red fruit and mocha. The finish was long on the palate with some drying tannin and lots of dry red fruit extract.
I was a little on the fence with this wine but it opened up nicely after a couple hours open in bottle. Once it started to show a little body on the palate, the dry red fruits and high acidity became more and more tolerable.

Very dark-colored wine with some blue hues of the youth in the edges. Supple nose caters peppery notes of Syrah and red and dark berries of Merlot; also a whiz of wild strawberries. Very youthful and straightforward palate with ripe red berries, fresh dark berries, spice, lively acidity and pretty mach tannins. Very juicy but also well-balanced and made with skill. A Chianti Classico best served young; not meant for aging. Very nice, honest and enjoyable CC. A wine that is not too serious but easygoing and all that jazz. A refreshing change in the midst of all those classic Classicos.

Bright ruby red in the glass. Nose shows lots of red cherries with bits of mint, licorice and orange zest. The mouth has some good quality tannins with both grip and silky smoothness. Good combo of tart fruity/herbal Sangiovese with a touch of Merlot richness.

Not a bad wine for pizza night. The wine was tannic with a bit of a sour finish. All and all a fun wine, but nothing special.

Typical Chianti Classico. Very earthy with blackcherries on the nose. On the palate is firm and fine structure with tannins on the background.
Well enough to enjoy right now and could be better with more aging. However, I think it will reaches its peak within 1-2 years from now.
