Wow, clear PN character with bright wild strawberry and lemon on the nose, followed by honey, and canteloupe, and a soft lemon peel note. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lovely mousse, chamomile and ginger, and a lovely refreshing, gingery finish.

This is also the Cote Bechalin bottling. Disgorged April 2017. This has a golden/pink hue. Very intense bubbles at first, but settles down and great after some time in the glass. Fabulously aromatic nose with a touch of bread, and intense orange melon, with a hint of cool basil in the background. On the palate, fantastic acidity, meyer lemon and sweet orange melon on the palate, with some nice balancing bitterness. Nicely textured, and just a beautiful champagne.

This is very Pinot Noir in character, with lingering aromas and flavors of currant and raspberry candy. This has put on significant weight since last tasted. This is not heavy; rather the fruit has now stepped forward and the mineral edge has softened considerably. One would think this was dosed, at least with a few grams. Amazing what a nondosage Champagne can do with a little bottle age. Drinking well now.

Flott tiltalende nese med noe modningstoner. Ren og elegant 2003. Fin konsentrasjon og flott friskhet. Drikker meget bra nå. Lang finish med mineralsk trøkk. Holder seg godt i glasset, og tåler flere år på langs.

Flott moden, men fresh frukt på nese. Kremet mousse, nydelig friskhet og bra konsentrasjon. Som alltid topp fruktkvalitet. Lang. Gjorde seg godt til rettene med gravet elg, fenalår og jordskokkchips.

Been over two years now since last tasted. Pure Pinot here -- crushed crisp raspberry, cacoa, toast. Creamy texture. Great mouthfeel, finishes with an admirable Burgundian mineral streak. It's the generous midpalate and finish that is striking. You need to be thinking Pinot with this one. After drinking so many BdBs as of late, this is a very different beast.

Light hay color, this is a joy, with round, slightly nutty flavors, apricot pit, soft, creamy acidity but very nicely balanced, hint of red apple on the finish. Lovely Champagne.

Fizz @ Fish Club (Fish Club, Clapham): Slightly darker than the 04. a little riper on the nose too. Bright and exotic on the attack. Full and quite rich but not particularly overdone on the palate. Some weight but also a lightness and slight chalkiness. Quite front end loaded cf the 04. ***1/2

Soft bubbles and easy to drink. The bubbles tickle the mouth Dry and yeasty but in a subtle way. Elements of fruit with a hint of spice crisp and well balanced Very enjoyable.

White stone fruits and a little bit of citrus and toast on the nose. On the palate, beautiful round Pinot flavors are present in the context of soft loose bubbles. This is elegant and sophisticated non-dosage champagne. It falls short of ascending to the next level as if something more is buried within. Perhaps these secondary notes will emerge with time, so I'd be inclined to hold this vintage a bit longer before any further consumption.
