Pale. "Sweet" nose. Hard to find out what exactly is there. Initially seeming too sweet though the acidity finally catches up after a glass or two. Not especially concentrated.

2005-2011 German Spatleses (Rich & Peggy's House, Los Altos, CA): Little spritzy. Sweet green pea and tart peach nose. Tart green apple in the mouth, nice acid, not much residual sugar. Almost Sauvignon Blanc like. Unusual but not bad. (my 6th, group's 6th)

Sweetness and strong apple flavors combine to taste like, well, apple juice. There's pineapple, honey, and lychee, but you have to look hard for them; somewhat one-dimensional. Good persistence throughout, and a generous finish, but only modest citrus verve to balance the sweetness. Decent quality, but wouldn't write home about it, nevermind that mom is more of a viogner gal anyway. Would buy again, but not for more than the ~$15 K&L was asking in the first place.

martinelli's apple juice with high and slightly coarse acidity on day 1; better on day 2 (with a summer salad) showing limeade, honey and quinine water with the persistent good but slightly coarse acidity; good generic spatlese.

Consumed over 1 1/2 hours with not-that-spicy Thai food. Solid but simple off-dry riesling, with a palate reminding me of lime-ade with a hint of pear or peach, all wrapped up in grapefruit-like acidity. Well-priced at K&L.

Nice tangy acidity and sweet fruit makes this an enjoyable quaff. Shows good typicity and has a good medium finish, but probably just shy of outstanding for me. Drinking well right now, but just not a ton of complexity. 88-90 points.

Really enjoyed this wine. It comes on sweet, but the underlying minerality and and acid give it a nice personality. A great food wine when paired well. Great QPR at $14.99 as well!

Very pale still. Ginger, peach and honey nose. Nose exactly complex or concentrated but very soft and gulpable.

This is on the sweet side. I would prefer a bit more citrus and minerals.

Lots of pears and apples with some honey notes, and stony minerality. Let's face it--is there such a thing as a bad Riesling from the Mosel???? ;-)

Tangy acidity counteracts the off dry finish beautifully and with bags of fruit this just a lovely, light wine - a perfect aperitif
