Pleasant, medium body, not too much oak, some citrus and grapefruit flavor. Aroma muted. Nice for various rice dishes at home on a weekday at a table filled with grade-school chatter about Christmas presents.

Good everyday wine. Not outstanding but for a sub-$10 wine is a good deal. Light and oaky and went well with the broiled swordfish steaks and pasta. I will definitely buy it again for daily drinking with a light meal.

Not really my type of wood. A little too much oak for the fruit although not overpowering. Some lemon and lime notes on the palate which fade and leave some wood.

$5 at Trader Joe's, 12.5%. 100% viura. Molded plastic cork (Supremecork). Light bodied, better with whitefish than the salmon we ate with it. Pleasant, well-balanced, not much aroma. Good.

I guess I just don't like this varietal. The bouguet was heavy with petrol and the wine hinted with fruit but had a biiterness I could not get past.

Floral nose, honeyed citrusy flavors, medium body. Not bad for the money. Poor pairing with salmon.
