Really love the nose on this wine but the flavors just don't come through as I would like. Little heavier on the pallette than I would like. Nice and crisp.

This was a meh. Would never have guessed this as a chablis. None of the acidity/minerality I look for. Flavor somewhat shallow. Just no excitement here.

Not a bad chardonnay, but I would never ever pick it out as a Chablis. Way too little acid, very round. Light medium yellow. Lemon, pineapple. Medium body. Lush. Some minerality. Buttery lactic acid. Medium finish.

Popped and poured. As with the 08, a terrific bottle of wine. Nice citrus and oyster shell combined with soft pear and apple. Can't imagine a better AOC chablis at $22. 90pts.

Seashells, citrus, and a definite saline element on a medium nose. Crisp and clean on the palate, very pure and refreshing. Nice balance and a medium finish. Not quite as good on Day 2.

This is a very nice, crisp, subtle bottle of wine. I am not a big fan of buttery heavy oaked and secondarily fermented Chardonnay. This is a light to medium body wine with mild lemon and citrus on tne nose, nice weight, reasonable balance but a bit short on acidity, some minerality, with a nice finish. There is some pear and some peach noticeable as well. Certainly one of the better lower cost chablis around, great value, I would recommend it without reservation. I had it with some cheese from the region, and a mahi mahi with a clam juice reduction, and it worked superbly.

straw colour with green reflexes. nose: green apples, cut grass, very fresh and elegant; later some apricot notes. taste: very crispy, buttery notes very limited, limestones, very elegant, some lime in the finish. generally very dry. Very good chardonnay.

Wildman 2009 Burg Tour (Boston): Bright green apples. Crisp nose. Some richness (Boytritis, or just really ripe?) Medium bodied. Very solid. Very nice for an entry level Chablis. ($25)

Dead on to last note: Lemon Pledge comes to mind. Has a definite chemical quality. Lacks the crispness I like in Chablis.

And the two bottles I have purchased on a flyer are gone. Won't be missing these. Round, lemon rind, with a little saline and almost bitter finish.

This was rounder than what I like in Chablis. Completely lacking any minerality or any real crispness. Big meh.

Better hours after opening. Maybe needs time to drop some baby fat.

Very nice and minerally driven Chablis. Bright and balanced. Flavor profile is a bit shallow. Good value.
