Wow, I bought this years ago. Pale gold, the nose now total minerality and saline, almost chalky. Bone dry, medium acid, moderate citrus notes, underlying minerality. In pretty good knick all things considered.

Decent effort in a tough vintage. There is not much in the nose, even though the palate already is developed a the wine is drinking nicely. It is a bit to the heavy side.

Light refreshing sea spray lemon, mineral nose. Palate was clean with some similarly flavored acids and chalk palate. Finish was crisp, chalky and acidic yellow and a bit of green citrus.

Short and a little harsh, and perhaps a little greenness among the lemon notes. Missing some of the steeliness that I often enjoy in village chablis. After having had a few bottles, I am not sure that Fevre is my style of Chablis.

76 points and no explanation? That is just wrong, for this wine deserves far better, if not glowing, accolades. Pale straw in the glass, on the nose, a subtle floral note, quite elusive, on the palate clean and crisp, bracing acidity, lean, no great length.

Green aspect, aromatic with touch of fruit and sweet minerality; good chalky character. Tart, crisp, simple. 5% barrel for 5 mo. Tasted at the Domaine.

A sort of barnyard minerality with just a hint of oak. Very high acidity (so high you´d think some has been added). Good concentration. Too young, wait at leat 6-12 months.

Yellow apples and citrus with floral notes on both nose and taste. Flat, uninteresting, way to young and shows very little signs of being a Chablis. Disappointing and overpriced.

Hard to find any fault with this wine as it over delivers for village chablis. This wine brought a massive smile as it was crisp and elegant with lemon notes and that hallmark minerality that people associate with chablis. Incredibly fresh and moreish with a wonderful balance of acidity and fruit - maybe I was just in a chablis mood but this was near pefect mid week drinking - chapeau to Fevre!

Burgundy 2011 Day 2: Lunch at Bistrot Grand Cru in William Fevre (William Fevre, Chablis): Very decent for a straight Chablis. Very flowery nose, with yellow fruit and peach scents at the rear. The palate was nice and clean, but still showed some of therichness of the vintage with more yellow fruit and peachy notes. Simple, but very pleasant, with a nice freshness that made it a great pairing with our food.

A bit of oyster shell on a very typical Chablis nose. Good solid entry level Chablis - a touch unctuous without much firm cut, as you might expect from 09. Pleasing for short-term drinking, but not outstanding. 89-90

$20 at costco. fake cork. lemon and apple, rather tubby in the midpalate, lacking crispness and minerality, almost spoofilated. not a wine i will buy again.

Very nice Chablis and very good price, great value indeed. William Fevre becomes my top 3 of Chablis producers. Two tricks to enjoy Chablis... Buy great vintages and... Don't drink it too cold.
Drink now - 2016
ps. 2005 and 2009 are recommended.

Drinking well. Green apple, almond and a bit of chalk on the finish. A bit more rounded than it was a couple years ago. Wonderful with raw oysters.
