This is ready for business. Really balanced and the dark fruit is really forward. Fills the mouth and is framed by soft tannins w some acidity to give lift to the finish. Without the acidity this would be too big and plush for my liking. Went well with salmon and crispy potatoes. Very nice wine and glad to see the 2008s coming out of hibernation.

Dark and plumy hue, with racy fruit; laden with raspberries and ripe cherries, spicy touches of sassafras, black tea, peppermint, and chocolate. Classic Pelos Sandberg dried rose petal and earthy nuances. Rich and smooth, with subtle smoke notes resting on multi layered mid-palate flowing easily over soft tannins. Vibrant lift on the spicy finish suggests this wine will cellar well. 330 cases produced

Really bright strawberry and raspberry flavors on both the nose and palate with an interesting charred earth component that adds some welcome complexity. Great value @ $22.

Been holding off opening these but heard it was getting to be time. Initial "funk" but it blew off with decanting and air. Spice and dark fruits with still a little funky earth on the nose and nice big dark fruits and fine tannins on the palate. I look forward to seeing how this evolves over the next couple years and I expect it will get higher ratings.

Needs some time - had overwhelming funk day one, like over-the-top plum, but rounded out with air. -- revision -- this started off as a 87 -- but after a days worth of air much, much better so should have decanted -- but really what you expect from Pinot - very good WITH AIR, was like an 85 on opening

definitely has the 2008 Oregon Pinot profile.. ripe red/black fruit with strong perfumed, FLORAL notes and exotic spice components, with BLACK CHERRY SKINS and.... PLUM? Solid, pure, clean, darker fruit flavors with good concentration.. without the impression of being overly extracted... relatively balanced (not hot), nice mouthfeel, good mid-palate, with a decent finish.. overall, enjoyable and well made.. although lacking the mineral, seaweed, mossy rock and soil components I enjoy in some Oregon Pinots... which is not a bad thing, simply more of a personal preference.. I think a good number of people will enjoy this wine.. and since I do wish I had more at this time...it's worth trying for yourself.

Nice acid and bright fruit of strawberries and other light berries. Pretty decent all around.

Dark fruit dominate, wood is noticeable but not overwhelming. Popped and poured so wine was tight at first but opened nicely with some time.

Evolving nicely and getting better with some more age. The fruit is developing even darker flavors and the whole of the wine is coming together.
