Consistent with previous bottle. The ripe tropical and citrus notes in this wine were a perfect pairing for a hazelnut and lemon pound cake for dessert. A very long, lingering sweet finish too. If this wine had a bit more acidity to balance out the sweetness, it would be stellar because the aromas and flavors on this wine are intense.

Light yellow color. The nose jumped out of the glass with a mix of tropical fruits (mostly pineapple and mango) and some honeycomb and apple notes. Really intense nose where you almost smelled the sweetness of the wine. This sweetness carried over and was quite evident on the palate. This wine had a bit of weight to it and was on the verge of being cloying. Needed a bit more acid to help balance out the sweetness but pairing it with a farmer's bleu cheese and some apples brought out the best in this wine. A very tasty dessert wine but a tough sell for the price.

Wonderful stuff.... Beautiful in the glass, offering a nice balance of soft orchard fruit on the nose - peaches and nectarines are most notable - and tart lemon custard on the palate. Slightly viscous in texture and truly enjoyable.

2009 Bordeaux ( and Margaux Blanc, Alpha Omega Late Harvest) (My Home): Very similar to the 06 Reserve IMO. I preferred that as it had more complexity. This does not seem to have the cut, but perhaps it will balance out more with time. Also a dead ringer for a sauternes. Great fruit. Sweet but shy of cloying.

Loads of honey and apricot and peach jam on the nose. A big burst of citrus peel on the palate, with roasted hazelnut and some suggestions of asparagus. Great acidity! Honeysuckle. Really a nice profile and very tasty.

A simple, but pleasing dessert wine. Consistent with prior notes, honey-apricot, with a touch sweetness.

Simple but enjoyable thick texture of well integrated sweet apricot and honey. Nice complement to dessert.

Nicely balanced, not overly sweet. Floral on the nose, honey and apricot on the palate.

I give it a meh. Nice nose of apricot, candied citrus peel, etc but just could not get over this briny impression on the palate
