This bottle was drinking really well. Surprisingly youthful with plenty of fruit and still pretty decent tannic structure. I think the drinking window on this goes well past 2020. However, we bought our bottles directly at the winery a few years ago, so it is possible that they have held up better than bottles on the secondary market. No hurry to drink the last bottle over the next 2-3 years.

Blind tasting. Nose of explosives red fruits, jamy and fresh like the beggin of a home made jam. Mouth dense full of fruit with shy sap, perfect tannins. Ending super class with black cheeries, mineral crushed nuts and a kind of caramel spirits. Ready now. I 'm not a nebbiolo fan but that is good !

Tasted and bought this at the winery in summer of 2015. This bottle was drinking very nicely now. Good balance of fruit and acidity and some earth, quite food friendly. I got just a bit of heat as it warmed to room temp so I preferred to drink it at 55-60 deg. This might still smooth out a bit with more time, and should have at least 5 years left. No hurry to drink at all, but also quite approachable now.

Very good spot now. A very faint nose of slight camphor, dew, jet fuel. On the palette, very vigorous, fresh berries, cherries, dark chocolate, meat with powerful warm alcohol to drive the flavours through. Secondary flavours of candied, toffee-ed apricots, leather, burnt orange rind. A good, quite long finish that carries these flavours right down the throat. Thoroughly satisfying. So far the best of a mixed case of Ceretto, alongside the Muscato D'Asti.

Dinner party gift from a friend. Minimally decanted....which did it no favours. Young in colour and warmly pleasing but basicaly closed on the nose. Palate is rich, ripe, sultry fruit, new oak in its good way.......overall, I could summarise it as young but very succulent. Fun to drink now with food but can only improve over the next few years.....although not, I suspect, in line with its current price point.

Got this bottle at the estate in Piedmont and brought it back to taste at home. A great wine still young and not open. Intense aroma of roses, dry red fruits, a touch of sandalwood. Still from the modern era with a little too much extraction and barrique aromas but it should reward some years of cellaring. Medium + accidity and tannins, polished.

Had this at Picolo Sogno in Chicago. Beautiful nose of flowers and spice. Complex layers of fruit leading to a long, wonderful finish. One of the best wines I've had in a while.

Last bottle of winery purchase in 2015. Consistent with previous notes. Drinking well now, but still could have gone at least a couple of years more.

Nose with leather, tar and spicy warmth. Big palate, 'warm' tannic, but beautiful. Alcoholic sharpness and some unpleasant hard tones. Not ready yet.

Rose, plum, gently spicy - undertones of ink, meat. Dense nose, beautiful perfume. 25 year old vines; 1 year barrique, 1 year cask, 1 year bottle.

Bright on the palate , but not much on the nose. Dried flowers and cherry cough syrup.

Italian and Spanish tasting (Watson's, Hong Kong): Rich, smooth with a nice cherry nose. Balanced on the palate with good tannins. Patty's favourite.
