Bill's Monthly Lunch - December 2012 (Le Gavroche): Mature nose but over the hill on the palate. Dried out, dried leaves. Nose has some tar. Lots of acid. I had this a few years ago and it seems like it had a promising future. Not sure what to make of this. Judgement reserved.

(@Cincin) Clear, red brick with an orange rim/ clean med intensity with wet soil, spices / dry, med+ acidity, med body, med- tannin with great length and complexity. Some spices and light sweet vanilla, red fruits with cocoa/moka and evolving towards caramel like flavors after 1.5 hr in decanter. very nice bottle.

Dark red for a Piemonte wine. Tight, spicey and floral. Improves every minute in the glass. On the darker side, black cherry and spice. Excellent tannins and acid. A very good example of a blended Piemonte wine.

Bill's Monthly Lunch - September 2010 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – medium orange-brownish red in colour. This jumped out at me as Nebbiolo with beautiful notes of funk, roses, dried papaya and charred red fruits. Sweet and sappy. Well balanced acidity and tannin. The nose is developing and getting better with each sniff. Very enjoyable now but will reward further cellaring. Excellent. 90+
