Average cab. Available in PA for about $17 - which is higher than elsewhere. Would have been a very good QPR at around $10-$12. This was thin - not bad fruit and not off-putting. But nothing special.

Poured through Nuance, decanted an hour, lighter density color and mouthfeel, longer finish than last time with light tannins/oak, after 15 sec I notice some green/sour notes, glad its last bottle so I can focus on the bigger CH cabs.

Poured through Nuance, left glass on counter an hour, light density color similar to a Pinot, light-weight mouthfeel, short finish, boring to me, will not repurchase even at $11. Day 2: No structure, sour finish, undrinkable.

Nice rich focused fruit of plum, black and blue berries. Great balanced structure drinking very well right now, but tannins should soften over time. Medium length finish. Great deal at Costco right now for $9.99.

Color: Medium ruby. Nose: Lighter scents of cranberry and some raspberry. Taste: Weak flavors of cranberry, faint raspberry and dusty, puckering tannins. Light to medium body. Finish: Short with more tannins. I had one glass, then used the remainder in beef stew. Not a re-buy. In its defense, it got somewhat better with a decant.

Still very good for $13. Dark fruit, soft tannins.

I can't believe that a $13.67 cab could taste this good. The tannins were just right and a somewhat long finish. Packed with dark fruits.

Good fruit. Not a lot of structure/tannins but very tasty right out of the bottle.

An average wine with a little sourness on the finish. This will make a good weekday wine. I would skip serving it to the guests.

Very smooth. Well integrated oak, dark fruits. Distinctive Alexander Valley characteristic. Would be great for everyday.

2011 Philadelphia Wine Festival (Marriott, Philadelphia PA): on the light side for a cab, but a little crescendo on the late midpalate.

Some green notes on the nose and in the mouth. Light tanins so this drinks easy young. Pass.

Light for a cab, has more of a pinot noir color and taste. But pleasant and opened up nicely. Nothing special.

Nice balance but lighter bodied for a Cab. Nice plum and some distinct red cherry flavors. Good overall structure and tasty fruit.

OK for $10, but uninspiring and uninteresting.
