Pretty, perfumed nose wowed the group. Very 2003 - ripe, open fruit with a bit of stewed character/ burnt vinyl. Clearly shows the limitations of the vintage, not one of the better versions of this wine, but quite delicious nonetheless. When it comes across as luscious, it feels like a 92 point wine, yet on other sips the overripeness is bothersome. 89-92

Consistent with the house style - sweet fruit, considerable oak. Doesn't show overripeness, but this is perhaps a bit simple (at this stage at least); similar in profile to the F. Magnien Hauts Doix CM tasted a few months ago, with a touch more quality here. Nice enjoyable Chambolle though, for sure, with a touch of bitterness on the finish. 92, pushing 93 at its best.

Smoother up front than the other '03 Perrot-Minot wines tasted today, more delicate, power in back, rubbery tannins. Best of the tasting.
