(Trimbach Riesling Clos St. Hune) Chalk upon limes upon chalk. Petrol. Slight apricot crushed (no pun intended) by a rock quarry . . . .In the mouth it is just ethereal. It has an elegance I have only encountered in Dönnhoff. Just floats in your mouth. Yet there is so much material. Concentrated but never even the slightest hint of heavy. It is soft. But then after you swallow there are major waves of acidity that extend the flavors on the finish. Almost slatey on the finish. The precision, cut and elegance are unreal. True beauty. Yes this is way too young but is a true masterpiece which I need to get my hands on.
